The aim of this study was to compare the efficacy of narrative therapy and acceptance & commitment therapy, in existential anxiety and irrational beliefs on elders. The method of this study was a quasi-experimental form pretest-posttest with a control group and followup. The statistical population consisted of older adults who resided in Tehran city nursing homes in 2018. 30 of elders who passed inclusion criteria were selected by available sampling method and they were randomly divided into two experimental and one control group of 10 members each. The experimental groups received 10 sessions twice a week of narrative therapy and acceptance & commitment therapy. All subjects passed the followup stage after 1.5 months from post-test. The Good's existential anxiety inventory and Jones' irrational beliefs test were used to collect data. Findings of ANCOVA revealed that both narrative therapy and acceptance & commitment therapy were significantly effective in reducing existential anxiety (p<0.01) and irrational beliefs (p<0.01), on subjects. However, acceptance & commitment therapy was more effective in reducing irrational beliefs (p>0.05), While both narrative and acceptance & commitment therapies had the same effect on existential anxiety variable (p<0.05). It seems that the similarity in the nature and performance of the implementation of narrative therapy and acceptance & commitment therapy and fitting with the conditions of the elderly people, these therapies had the same efficiency. The most appropriate reason for commitment-based and acceptance-based therapy to reduce irrational beliefs is also related to the creation of psychological flexibility on elders.}, keywords = {Narrative therapy,Commitment-based treatment and acceptance,existential anxiety,irrational beliefs,elders}, title_fa = {اثربخشی درمان روایت مدار و درمان مبتنی بر تعهد و پذیرش بر اضطراب وجودی و باورهای غیرمنطقی سالمندان ساکن در خانه سالمندی}, abstract_fa = {کاهش اضطراب وجودی و بهبود باورهای غیرمنطقی تأثیر بسزایی در سلامت روان سالمندان دارد. بنابراین پژوهش حاضر به دنبال مقایسه اثربخشی درمان روایت مدار و درمان مبتنی بر تعهد و پذیرش بر اضطراب وجودی و باورهای غیرمنطقی افراد سالخورده بود. این پژوهش از نوع نیمه آزمایشی با طرح پیش آزمون-پس آزمون با گروه کنترل و پیگیری بود. سالمندان ساکن در خانههای سالمندی شهر تهران در سال 1397، جامعه آماری پژوهش را شامل شدند که تعداد 30 نفر با روش نمونه گیری در دسترس و بر اساس معیارهای ورود به مطالعه انتخاب و به صورت تصادفی در دو گروه آزمایشی و یک گروه کنترل 10 نفره جای گرفتند. درمان های روایت مدار و مبتنی بر تعهد و پذیرش هر کدام 10 جلسه و هفت های دو نوبت اجرا شدند. یک ماه و نیم بعد از پس آزمون نیز آزمون پیگیری به عمل آمد. به منظور جمع آوری داده ها از پرسشنامه های اضطراب وجودی گود و باورهای غیرمنطقی جونز استفاده شد. نتایج تحلیل کوواریانس تک متغیره نشان داد که هر دو روش درمانی به صورت معنادار در کاهش اضطراب وجودی (01/0>P) و باورهای غیرمنطقی (01/0>P) شرکتکنندگان اثربخش بوده اند. با این حال اثربخشی درمان مبتنی بر تعهد و پذیرش در کاهش باورهای غیرمنطقی بیشتر بود (05/0P). به نظر میرسد درمانهای گروهی روایت مدار و مبتنی بر تعهد و پذیرش به سبب شباهت در ماهیت و شیوه اجرا و تناسب با شرایط سالمندان مورد پژوهش، اثربخشی مناسب و یکسانی بر اضطراب وجودی داشته اند. به نظر میرسد که علت تناسب بیشتر درمان مبتنی بر تعهد و پذیرش در کاهش باورهای غیرمنطقی نیز مربوط به ایجاد انعطاف پذیری روانشناختی در سالمندان میباشد.}, keywords_fa = {درمان روایت‌مدار,درمان مبتنی بر تعهد و پذیرش,اضطراب وجودی,باورهای غیر منطقی,سالمندان}, url = {https://jap.razi.ac.ir/article_1119.html}, eprint = {https://jap.razi.ac.ir/article_1119_dae60f49aa67a5462c770f0f89188931.pdf} }
